Wrecked, Abandoned or Hazardous Vessels Act (WAHVA)’s administrative monetary penalties, notices of violation and notices of default are fines issued by Transport Canada to corporations and individuals for contraventions to the WAHVA. WAHVA’s public record fulfills obligations set out under section 107 of the Act, which requires the Minister of Transport to maintain and disclose a public record of all notices of violation and notices of default issued under the Act. Below is a list of administrative monetary penalties, notices of violation and notices of default issued by Transport Canada’s Navigation Protection Program.
